Yes it's true, slap me in the face, it's true. It's honestly not as bad as you think. I realized that my senior love was being a major dick to me. Not talking to me, being rude, etc. Well his best friend helped me through it, was really sweet and consoling about the whole thing, and is overall a VERY sweet and VERY nice guy. I realized that I like him a lot and he was actually on my petanque team too, and he graduated last year as well. He's actually the one jumping up in the background with his tongue out in this picture :] : [link]

The BEST part is, we've been talking a lot, and I think he likes me too. Which would be the first guy to like me in almost.... 3 years XD

The BAD part is, my mom does not approve. Her excuse is that he's 18 and in college. I'm 16 and in my junior year of high school. He goes to the university in my town, and is close by. Does a 2 year age difference and the fact that I've known him from high school really get in the way of me being able to go out with him? Apparently according to my mom. It's really annoying, and makes NO sense to me. Whatever, I'm just going to take it slowly and have convinced my mom that we're just friends, and hopefully she'll eventually approve.
