Earth to Olive

This picture has a small story to it:
The bus ride home so far had been completely uneventful for Ramona. She, being the talkative person that she was, had been blabbering on about her cat's recent seizure, when she noticed that her best friend Olive was staring off into space. Ramona went silent, gazing at the dreamy look in her chestnut eyes and the fact that she had a book in her hand that wasn't getting much attention.
"Hello...?" Ramona called, folding her arms in her chest and scooting closer to her. "Earth to Olive!"
Olive didn’t seem to notice, and continued to stare off in front of her. Ramona, looking in her direction, suddenly noticed what Olive was staring at. There, sitting across from them, was Anthony. He was a tall dark haired 20-year-old that attended Boston State like they did. He wore glasses, sported a purple plaid scarf around his neck, and had his nose buried in Water for Elephants. Ramona herself thought Anthony was quite handsome, definitely single, and definitely not gay. Olive had never spoke to him in their ceramics class, but Anthony had always been kind to her and smiled at her passing by.
Ramona had asked Olive before if she liked Anthony, but it was always the same response: “I will never fall in love. Never.”
It had been a couple years since then that Ramona had noticed some changes in her friend, and only now did she realize what was going on.
“You dirty little liar.” Ramona whispered. Olive gave a start, that seemed to have grabbed her attention as she turned to Ramona.
“Huh?” she asked in a small voice.
“You lied to me!” Ramona cried, a huge smirk on her face. “You’re in love!”
